Bisibela Bath

My grandma makes all tasty foods. She is really good in making bisibelabath. This recipe was taken from her notes and I hope this would be useful to all friends who visits this blog

Ingredients
Rice - 3/4 Cup
Toor Dhal - 3/4 cup
Small Onions - 1 cup
Carrot- 1/4 cup
Peas- 1/4 Cup
Beans - 1/4 Cup
Tamarind- One big size
Ghee - 1 table spoon
Corainder- for garnishing

Masala powder Ingredients

Dhaniya - 1 table spoon
Red Chilly- 5 numbers(According to taste)
Channa Dhal - 1 table spoon
Masala - Pattai, brinji elai, anasi poo and the other black one
Koparai Coconut(If not available dry roast the normal coconut)
Dry roast all the above ingredients in a pan
Dry roast coconut separately
Powder them together and keep it aside

Rice and thoor dhal cooked separately and then mix them well.

Take apan and add some oil and fry small onions first and then add vegetables and fry it for sometime then add the tamarind water to it and add salt and turmeric powder and let it boil for 5 -6 minutes

Add the masala powder and let them boil for another 3 minutes

Now take a big pan and add the mixed rice and thoordhal and the prepared sambhar together and mix it well add 1 table spoon ghee to it on the top and garnish it with Coriander leaves

Tasty Bisibelabath is ready
